Cambridge English A2 Key
Cambridge English A2 Key It is an A2 level exam that tests the ability to use English in simple everyday situations. It is particularly suitable for children and teenagers who already have a solid foundation in English and want to validate their knowledge with an internationally recognised certificate.
A2 Key represents a natural progression from children's exams A2 Flyers and is an important step on the path to higher levels of Cambridge English. Ideally, a fourth or third-year pupil should take the A2 KET exam.
What students can achieve
• understand simple conversations and information in everyday situations,
• communicate about everyday life, school, family, hobbies and free time,
• use basic grammar and vocabulary at A2 level,
• read and understand simple texts, emails and announcements,
• write a short email or simple connected text,
• respond to questions and hold a short conversation in English.
How we will prepare you at Happy Learning
At Happy Learning we prepare students for the exam A2 Key systematically and practically. In lessons, we develop all four language skills – listening, speaking, reading and writing.
At the same time, students familiarise themselves with the exam format and learn strategies to help them work effectively with individual tasks.
An important part of the preparation is also regular communication in English. We want students not only to pass the exam successfully, but also to gain greater confidence in the actual use of English.
We work in small groups, pay attention to the individual needs of students, and regularly monitor their progress.
