Cambridge English A1 Movers
A1 Movers is the second level of Cambridge English exams, designed primarily for children who already have a basic knowledge of English and can communicate in simple everyday situations.
The test follows on from the Pre A1 Starters level and helps children to gradually develop their ability to understand and use English. Children work with topics they know from their everyday life – family, school, friends, home, food, hobbies or leisure time. The test is ideally suited for pupils in the second or first year of primary school, of course after sufficient preparation.
What children learn
• understand simple questions, instructions and short conversations,
• talk about oneself, one's family, school and interests,
• use a broader basic vocabulary,
• understand simple texts and information,
• write short sentences and simple texts,
• communicate in common everyday situations.
